About the Lamborghini URUS 1016 Industries Project
This Lamborghini Urus project was built around the 1016 Industries widebody program and completed in collaboration with Moscow Modern Cars. GT Factory was responsible for sourcing and supplying the components for the project.
1016 Industries is a California-based brand known for aggressive carbon fiber styling programs for exotic and luxury vehicles. On the Lamborghini Urus, the widebody package gives the SUV a much more dramatic, muscular, and distinctive appearance.
Parts Supply and Project Timing

The supply side of the project was handled at a difficult time. The components were organized and delivered just as the COVID-19 pandemic began to disrupt international logistics, shipping schedules, and supply chains around the world.
Project Coordination

The project required coordination between the client, the supplier side, and the build team. With a widebody conversion of this type, timing, communication, and technical planning are just as important as the parts themselves.
Widebody Fitment and Installation Challenges

Like many aftermarket widebody programs, this kit required professional installation, careful test fitting, and corrective work during assembly. Carbon fiber exterior components often need adjustment, alignment checks, and experienced hands to achieve a clean final result.

One of the most demanding areas was the hood fitment. It required additional time and corrective adjustment to sit properly on the vehicle. On a high-end SUV like the Urus, panel alignment is critical because every gap, edge, and transition is immediately visible.
Exterior Presence

The finished conversion gave the Lamborghini Urus a stronger visual character, wider proportions, and a much more aggressive stance. The 1016 Industries program is not a subtle upgrade. It is designed to make the vehicle look sharper, lower, wider, and more exotic.
At this level, the final result depends on how well the components are prepared, aligned, and integrated into the original body lines. A widebody SUV can look impressive from a distance, but the real quality is always visible in the details.
Final Result
This was the first and only Lamborghini Urus 1016 Industries widebody project of its kind in Russia at the time. The project remains an important part of the GT Factory portfolio and reflects the type of coordination, planning, and attention required for exotic SUV widebody conversions.
